This is why Project: Diverge is happening.
This is the Ballad of Jon Harder. This is personal. #DIVERGE
With a little more than a week away from Operation New Wave, "the Magnificent" Giovanni Marranca released a Rough Cut regarding Darius Carter and his feelings regarding 4.21.18.
Marranca's comments were in response to this Darius tweet a few days ago.
After seeing the back and forth between these two, it seems as if this contest is definitely among the more personal heading into the Old Bridge Elks in Old Bridge, NJ on 4.21.18.
A few days ago on http://facebook.com/thejonharder, Jon Harder wrote a personal Facebook message towards the vision of Project: Diverge.
However, the doubt of the man putting this together has once again asked the one question that's been persistent from him this entire time: What Did I Just Do? For less than two weeks out, the man who put this together is showing a wee bit of doubt.
During the Thursday night edition of the Angry Marks Podcast, Jon Harder got his last minute plugs of the Project: Diverge Operation New Wave event, which led founder of AngryMarks.com and host Stevie J to make his prediction on his choice to win the Operation New Wave Tournament.
#DIVERGE Project: Diverge Operation New Wave
April 21, 2018 The Old Bridge Elks 67 Old Amboy Rd Old Bridge, NJ 08857 7PM Bell Time Tickets on sale: http://diverge1.booktix.com THE OPERATION NEW WAVE TOURNAMENT One Night, Single Elimination Tourney For The New Wave Cup FIRST ROUND MATCHES Match 1: Scientific vs Speed Tom O’Malley vs 2Hot Steve Scott This matchup will open the Operation New Wave Tournament. O’Malley and Scott both trained under the tutelage of independent wrestling legend Jay Lethal. However, the comparisons stop there. O’Malley, a man with a strong amateur wrestling base from South River, NJ, really identifies with the grappling nature of scientific and technical wrestling. Scott, a master of the Selfie from Roselle Park, NJ, lives and dies by his Speed in between the ropes. These two men know each other extremely. Will O’Malley dominate on the mat? Or will 2Hot show that his need for Speed can garner him a victory? Match 2: Violence vs Old School Ricky Richards vs Tough Tim Hughes For Ricky Richards, Operation New Wave is a break-out opportunity. The silent but violent fighter from Long Island, NY lives and embodies the hockey toughness that lays out in the wrestling ring. On the other end is Tough Tim Hughes, a man who has truly learned the ways of Old School from his mentor Brutal Bob Evans. At Operation New Wave, will Violence overcome the tricky ways of Old School? Or will the little nuances Tough Tim has learned over the years help him garner a W over the cerebral Richards? Match 3: Entertainment vs Powerhouse Sizzling Stan Stylez vs Vince Steele This is a battle of “David Vs Goliath”. Sizzling Stan Stylez is quite possibly the most charismatic individual inside of the Operation New Wave tournament, but not even the Sizzling One can be sure on how to prepare for the 6’4, 435 lb “Jurassic Juggernaut” from the Bronx, NY. Vince Steele is big, strong, and agile. Does size matter in this battle? April 21, we find out. Match 4: Striking vs Hybrid “The Magnificent” Giovanni Marranca vs Darius Carter Giovanni Marranca is on a crusade. He has made a self-imposed mandate, stating that if he does not win the Operation New Wave tournament, he will leave wrestling forever. On the other end, Darius Carter is looking to showcase his abilities and win on his terms. Both men are driven and both men have fire to succeed. This contest might be the most intriguing on April 21st. “Wrestling’s Richest Prize” and “the Magnificent” are definitely looking to steal the show. PLUS, THE SEMI-FINALS AND FINALS TO DETERMINE THE WINNER OF THE NEW WAVE CUP! In non-tournament action MC MONTY MAX PRESENTS THE STYLES CLASH A Four Way Elimination Match Prince Akkanatan (Entertainment) vs Mike Del (Hybrid) vs WildMan Kongo (Old School) vs Gabby Ortiz (Speed) On February 23, 2018, on an edition of the Purge of Diverge, Jon Harder’s Hypeman, MC Monty Max, announced that he had a vision for Operation New Wave. MC Monty Max announced the Styles Clash, with four different styles inside of one match. In an elimination concept, the last person standing would be the winner and sole survivor of the Styles Clash. HYBRID - Darius Carter selected Mike Del ENTERTAINMENT - Stan Stylez selected Prince Akkanatan OLD SCHOOL - Tough Tim Hughes selected Wildman Kongo SPEED - 2Hot Steve Scott selected Gabby Ortiz WHO WILL WIN THIS BATTLE AND OVERCOME THREE DIFFERENT STYLES?
